1. In order to ensure the safety and respect for the rights of children, the Aviator Hotel has implemented Standards for the Protection of Minors, based, among others, on the provisions of:
- the Act of 13 May 2016 on counteracting threats of sexual crime and protecting minors (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1802, as amended),
- the Family and Guardianship Code (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 2809, as amended).
- A document describing these standards is available at the reception desk.
2. Adults staying at the Aviator Hotel with a child may be asked to verify their authority to care for the minor (e.g. by presenting the child's identity document, written consent of parents/guardians, confirmation of family relationship), especially when there are doubts as to the safety or welfare of the child or when the situation so requires on the basis of the above-mentioned legal regulations.
3. In the event of a refusal to present documents or the inability to confirm the relationship with the child, the Aviator Hotel may suspend the provision of services until the situation is clarified, and in the event of a suspected threat to the child's welfare, notify the relevant authorities (e.g. the police) in accordance with applicable regulations.
4. Every guest and member of staff is obliged to comply with the rules set out in the Standards for the Protection of Minors. The Hotel shall take immediate action to protect the child if circumstances are observed that indicate a violation of their rights or safety.
